All the English Lamb sold at D Parker & Son Family Butchers comes from Quality Standard Farm Assured Farms and is supplied by Newman’s Abattoir, an independent family run producer in Hampshire.
As a traditional Fourth Generation Family Butcher we buy all our English lamb as whole carcasses and butcher them on site meaning little or no waste. However, when demand threatens this supply we have a buyer on Smithfield Market that enables us to buy Free Range Quality Assured lamb cuts throughout the year.
We make fresh lamb mince from trim and cuts of our own lamb stock and supply it prepackaged as a frozen stock item. We also keep a limited supply of frozen New Zealand and/or Australian lines of lamb to cater for the demand for that specific market. We endeavour to buy these from Free Range sources when possible.
We produce lots of ready to cook lamb products such as stuffed, boned and rolled joints, Lamb Guard Of Honour, sausages etc and all our meat can be marinaded in one of over 14 marinades at no extra cost
